Corporate Photography for the Shipping Industry: Angelicoussis Group
I recently completed a multi-day commission for the Angelicoussis Group, the leading name in Greek shipping. Working at their headquarters, the goal was to create a comprehensive visual library that captures the pulse of the company—moving away from stiff, traditional office shots toward a more modern, candid, and approachable style.
Documenting the Corporate Culture
The scope of this project was centered on the people who drive the largest shipping group in Greece. Over a three-day period, I focused on:
Employee Portraits & Teamwork: Capturing natural, candid-style photos of staff working collaboratively. The aim was to highlight the daily work life and the authentic atmosphere of the office.
Environment & Workspace: Wide-angle shots of the impressive HQ, showcasing shared areas and the unique culture of the firm, always with a focus on the human element.
Executive & Leadership Portraits: In addition to the team shots, I provided formal executive portraits for the Managing Directors and Heads of Departments. These leadership-focused shots are designed to project authority while maintaining the modern, clean aesthetic of the brand.
The Technical Approach
In a high-level corporate environment, lighting is everything. I used a full equipment setup to ensure bright, clean lighting that feels natural. The final deliverables included a mix of portrait and landscape formats, provided in both vibrant color and a curated selection of black and white to offer a timeless, editorial feel.
