Sport Yacht Photography: The Sunseeker Blade 6
There is a specific kind of energy you get when photographing a Sunseeker Predator. I recently headed back out to the waters around Aegina with my associate Dimitris Tzankatian to document the Blade 6, a 28-meter motor yacht that is all about speed and sleek, British design.
While our recent work on the Nova focused on volume and heritage, the shoot for Blade 6 was about capturing high-performance lines and the active lifestyle this boat offers.
Performance & Lifestyle on the Water
As a photographer, I treat these shoots as a mix of architectural precision and lifestyle storytelling. The Blade 6 has a very intentional design—meant for those who love being close to the water. I spent the day capturing the flow between the modern Sunseeker interiors and the massive extended swim platform.
Because this is a high-performance yacht capable of hitting 37 knots, we wanted the visuals to feel dynamic. Dimitris captured the drone videography, showing the planing hull in action, while I focused on the "al-fresco" dining areas and the clever use of space in the guest cabins.

Even on a fast-paced, one-day production, I don’t skip the small stuff. I spent time documenting the specialized equipment and the "toys"—from the jet skis to the paddleboards—that make this a favorite for Mediterranean charters. Every image goes through my personal editing process to ensure the textures of the GRP hull and the crispness of the Aegean light are perfectly balanced.
