Yacht Photography & Videography: The Baglietto "Nova"
I recently spent a full day on the water around Aegina documenting the M/Y Nova, a stunning 35m Baglietto. Having just completed an extensive refit in 2024 and 2025, the ship is in peak condition, and our goal was to capture that blend of classic Italian heritage and modern luxury.
For this production, I collaborated once again with Dimitris Tzankatian, who handled the drone photography and videography. Seeing a yacht like Nova from the air as she cruises the Saronic Gulf really puts her 35-meter scale into perspective.
An Architectural Approach to the Sea
I’ve always approached yacht photography with the same mindset I use for high-end architecture. It’s not just about showing a room; it’s about the light, the materials, and the flow of the space. I spent a lot of time on the interiors and exteriors, painstakingly processing every frame to make sure the details—from the refined woodwork in the five staterooms to the sleek aluminum hull—really pop.
Built for the Mediterranean
The Nova is a serious charter yacht, accommodating 12 guests with a dedicated crew of seven. Capturing her at 20 knots showed off her performance, but we also made sure to document the "lifestyle" side—the expansive deck spaces and the impressive collection of water toys that make a Greek charter experience unforgettable.
Global Reach from Athens
While we are based in Greece, we are looking to bring this level of detail to yachts and ship owners across the Mediterranean and nearby countries. Whether it’s a single-day shoot in the Saronic or a multi-day production abroad, our focus is on creating high-impact visuals that help a vessel stand out in a crowded charter market.
